OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE 2021 RADIOTOPIA CONTEST

HOW TO ENTER: No purchase or donation necessary. Entries may be made by going to radiotopia.fm between Wednesday, May 26th - Tuesday, June 29 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time. Existing monthly donors of Radiotopia are automatically entered into the giveaway. To enter the sweepstakes without donating, click here. All entries made without donating must agree to be emailed and contacted as per the PRX Privacy Policy, located in the attached donation form.

ELIGIBILITY: Anyone 18 years of age or older can enter the 2021 Radiotopia Contest except for employees of Radiotopia, PRX, and all related organizations (including but not limited to all employees and contractors of: Passenger List, Adult ISH, Showcase,Criminal, Ear Hustle, Everything is Alive, The Kitchen Sisters Present, The Memory Palace, The Mortified Podcast, Radio Diaries, Song Exploder, This is Love, Benjamen Walker’s Theory of Everything, The Truth,The West Wing Weekly, What Trump can Teach us About Con Law, Phoebe Reads a Mystery, The Stoop, Radiotopia Presents: Blind Guy Travels, Mermaid Palace (The Heart and Appearances), their immediate family or persons living in the same household. Void where prohibited by law..

Multiple entries are void and only the first entry is counted. Entries will only be accepted if given between May 26th, 2021 and June 22nd, 2021. Anonymous donations will not be entered. This contest is open only to permanent legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (but excluding Puerto Rico, Guam and all other U.S. territories and possessions), and Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec and Canadian territories) and who are physically located therein.

To be eligible, you must correctly enter your legal name.

Automatic entries will include:

Recurring donors whose last monthly contribution was on or after May 26th, 2021
Any donation made toward the 2021 Fundraiser between May 26th and June 22nd, 2021.

PRIZE: The winner will receive all of the following:

Two VIP entrance tickets to a special podcast event in Los Angeles in March of 2022
Domestic travel arrangements – including airfare and accommodations (2 nights) for 2 people (in one-room).
Prize must be claimed within 3 days of the drawing.

Total value: $2,000

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: One winner and three back up names will be selected by random drawing no later than June 22, 2021. Winner will be contacted by email for notification of contest results by telephone or mail. If the winner is unable to be contacted within three days to collect their prize, the unawarded prize will go to the first back-up and subsequent back-ups thereof until the prize is awarded. Winner must provide their social security number. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries. The winner’s name will be kept on file at Radiotopia and will be announced on July 1, 2021.

GENERAL: By participating, PRX, Radiotopia and, its agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the giveaway. Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions for a prize. The winner agrees to participate in promotion of the event or gift won as a prize, including, but not limited to, the use of his or her name, photograph or likeness, without further compensation. Taxes and expenses as a result of winning this prize are the responsibility of the winner. Winner will receive a 1099 with the above-stated value.

Results of the drawing are final--there are no substitutions or exchanges or cash redemption allowed.

PRX, Radiotopia, and all of our affiliated shows, are not responsible for entries that are not received due to issues with internet or telephone access.

RESTRICTIONS: Restrictions may apply. By participating in the 2021 Radiotopia Fundraiser Contest, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions made by PRX and Radiotopia.
